It's a Monday

and how is your morning so far? Hope you have had a great weekend. Mine was spend with my sister on Saturday and yesterday being Sunday, we were out in the afternoon to Orchard. Where else but to MWL to get my G45 papers. I simply love G45 and couldn't help but to get some other papers as well. Like as if I have run out of cardstocks!! My damage was 65 bucks!! Suprisingly, this time when I was selecting the papers, my DH stood beside me and choose papers together with me this time. Otherwise, he will always stand outside of the shop and wait till i'm done. Man oh Man, you just can't understand them at times. Anyway, that was very sweet of him, and not forgetting my little boy, squatting beside me with basket in his hand waiting for me to dump my things in for him to carry. That was so lovely of them, both father and son.

I spend my money on Saturday at Textile Centre on these!!!
Laces, laces and more laces....

Buttons i can't resist....

I couldn't stop myself, buttons, flowers, laces are my cup of tea. I simply love them, simple things like this makes me happy. I don't usually visit Textile Centre that often, it's only when i'm running out of lace and buttons, then i make my appearance there.

I made these for Saj for her teacher for Teacher's Day...
A Display Stand...(that's what i called it)

My altered drinking cup...

to a Stationery Holder
(to this)

Phew, thank goodness, i don't have to do much for Teacher's Day gifts until next year. Now i can concentrate on my scrapping. Can't wait to get my hands on my papers especially G45.

Thanks For Looking
Have a Beautiful Week Ahead

Sizzix Dies

which I bought and finally got my hands on it. While i was at MWL last thursday  i saw some scrappers had their los hung up on the wall and they used flowers as the base for the photos. I thought to myself, since i have this sizzix dies i might as well do something with it.

My Sizzix dies

My completed flower lo i used with the sizzix dies...
Hmm, i'm not very happy with the end work, maybe because i find that the colour combination is not that good this time.. But i will definitely try again...

I just completed on this..
Yellow butterfly is so pretty with the white cardstock..
Used hambly and Technique Tuesdays clear stamps.

Thanks for looking and most of all thanks for coming by my blog......

So how have you been doing?.. It's a mid week and hope things are looking great on your side.
Nothing that exciting happening for me to share. It's the usual daily chores. What's new for a SAHM? One of my sisters will be celebrating her 40th birthday this weekend and  i'm still not sure what to get for her. They said life starts at 40! How true is that?

For Papierhouse Challenge

is to use the colour Yellow... and Yellow here i come....
A simple one this time... there is a little birdie at the bottom right hand corner of the photo with the word beautiful just next to its' beak. It's perfect for this beautiful girl...

It's tuesday already and the weather is quite cool so far..How have you been doing? Hope things are looking great in whatever you do on your side.
I am proud to say that my girl has taken interest in cooking and she has prove herself that she can do it if she wants. Over the last weekend, i made her to cook a dish. It's not that simple for a beginner but i gave it a shot, i wanted her to try and she made me proud....
Come let's take a look at her skills.. Not bad huh,
for a first timer......
You go girl!

And here's her Delicious Fish Curry

Believe me it was really nice and  of course for a beginner i did help her with the ingredients here and there. I'm so proud of her. In the end i told her that if she puts in all her heart into doing something, God Willing she can accomplish it. In another words if there's a will there's a way. I'm very concerned on her academic level as well(which mother doesn't). She is weak in certain subjects like Math and Science. For Science she is reading a lot on references and notes given from school and as for numbers we have gotten her a good tutor, an (ex-teacher) and hopefully she will do us proud in her academic level as well. She is putting in  lots of efforts doing revision and studying. Everyday i made her practice her numbers. She obliged without complaining.

It is very stressful at times, but i always tell her to hang on till the exams are over. When she is stressed i'm stressed too
(shh.. i have scrapbooking to help me to destressed)
but than again
No Pain No Gain.

Anyways thank you so much for coming by my humble blog..

Hello and Good Morning...
Hope you have a fine start on this bright and sunny Wednesday.
Confession time: I haven't been scrapping(running out of photos)!
That's just an excuse isn't it!?
Well i was asked to make engagement invitation cards for my niece who is getting engage in August 2009. She is one of my lovely niece and i feel honoured to be able to do something for her for her engagement.
I made some samples here for her to choose
and I hope she likes the one that i like...

These cards are like bookmarks actually, she requested it to be simple...
So i try to make it as per her liking.

Thanks for coming by and have a Happy Wednesday....

Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009

2008 is drawing to an end, and it has been good to me in many ways even though the beginning was not a smooth one, I managed to handle and go on with it. I've learned to live life creatively, live life one day at a time and live peacefully. Let us learn to enjoy and appreciate what God has given us rather than to complain over what we lack. With the recession and all the global warnings, it can indeed be very stressful to think how to live within a restrained budget. Whatever it takes, we all have to take it at our strides. It's not going to be easy, that's for sure, but with the support of our loved ones and with positive thinking, I am sure 2009 will be just another great year ahead.

Have a Wonderful 2009 and
a Very Happy New Year To All
