I create... I scrap...
and i came up with these...
OOOOO..... now that it's up on the blog, it's really really RED...
But i think this is lovely...
with that little cheeky boy posing for the camera...
That's Keeven and Ming Xuan is his chinese name :)

we are family...

Sorry about that:( the photo is a little dark here. I tried editing in flickr but couldn't sign in because moi has forgotten the password. lol Now i've got to wait for Saj and hopefully she can remember for me. I used the Pink Paislee collection for this layout. I wanted something bright so i worked with yellow for the base. We all took this in a studio. It can get difficult to come up with titles for layout sometimes. Since we are all from Our Craft Place so i thought 'we are family' for the title will be just right. So if you want to know or have already known, this is the OCP family. lol
Confession! When i first saw this pink Paislee paper, i grab the whole lot from the shelf. I did not count, i just grab and go and in total for this paper i had 7 pieces and for the whole collection i think maybe close to 30. I'm a paper hoader!!! Shh... aren't we all the same.lol
Ok friends, that's all i have for now.
You stay happy and smiling always
Happy Monday everyone
Take care

Very good Monday Morning everyone......
How's your weekend and how have you been so far? Phew... with all the exam fever gone from my side, it feels so much relax and more time to scrap now. I hope and pray that she do well. Anyways, our weekend was a quite one, staying at home and enjoying each other's company. My dearest Hub and me did went out for awhile to do some groceries shopping and we were back soon after because there was a liverpool match at 8.30pm last night. On Saturday night, Saj and me was sitting on the sofa watching MTV Rihanna top 20 countdown. Those who know me would be like.."what you sit and watch MTV?" yup, im not the kind who will sit infront of a TV set, i wouldrather do something productive, first in the list would be scrapping, followed by house chores. But that Saturday, i took the effort to watch MTV with her and i have one word to describe - SHOCKED. Yes shocked! MTV videos has become almost like a X-rated kind of thinge. Woman carrassing, kissing, touching, hugging with another woman. It's norm if it's between the opposite sex but woman and woman!!! I'm conservative, and I'm proud to say that. My parents were traditional and very conservative, and there were many rules and regulations we had to follow. Of course ultimately, when we grew up, the choices are for us to make, but the roots are still there. We can define what is right and wrong and if its bad we refrained from it altogether. But this generation, nowadays it's totally the opposite. So back to the MTV, i took that opportunity to talk to her and tried reaching to her level. My girl is a teenager and she is vulnerable to these kind of exposure. For someone like me, MTV is not my kind but yet i have to like it one way or another to keep up with the latest trend. Saj loves music and i have to love her kind of music too. Ok so much of MTVs...

I did some quilling the past few days and came up with these frames here...

Something soft, something sweet...

Life is not measured by the
number of breaths we take
but by the moments that
take our breath away

This is another one that i like...
Especially the sentiment....
We all take
different paths
in life, but
no matter
where we go, we take a
little of each other
everywhere

Ok that's all for now..
I'm going to leave you with these
and hope you have a great day ahead.
Thanks for coming by

Today's post in non-scrap related..
Pardon me for that...
Pictures are all courtesy from Abhi's school concert and graduation ceremony last Saturday.
It was indeed a very proud moment for all of us to witness him performing with so much of enthusiasm and confidence and seeing him graduating actually moved me close to tears. He has grown up... and grown up fast. I was proud seeing him on stage and i'm sure any mother would, seeing their kids braving on stage infront of 680 parents, VIPS, school President, Principal and teachers and even the MP for Marine Parade. It was a moment to be proud of and i wish him many more graduations in his life to come.

The team from
The Fire Of Inamura

That's him performing below... the thing that moved me was, he did not tell us that he was the lead dancer. I guessed he wanted it to be a suprised...
As the costume suggest, it was a Japanese concert show.
He was one of the villagers trying to save their harvest during Tsunami.

When the Tsunami came they were scared, thus that expressions

The lead dancer... that's him
so when they were able to save their harvest from Tsunami,
they began to dance and celebrate
Arikisho...Arikisho..Sora Sora Sora....Arikisho Arikisho..
(That's all i can remember from the song)lol

It was indeed a very memorable event.
The team and teachers have really put in big great effort to make this event a very successful one.
Kudos to each and every one of them.

Thanks for coming by into my little cyber world where i share slices of my life.
Be back with some scrappy stuff next.
Have a great Monday

We are already one week
into October. Its a wet Thursday morning here with heavy downpour and dark clouds. Hope you have a good start to your morning and is always doing fine. Last Sunday was a dear sister's birthday. We had a good time together and get to meet up the rest. It was a celebration over food of course. Here she is...the birthday lady...

Love you sis...
Happy Birthday once again...

Hope she gets wiser as she grows older.lol

and that's us....

My sisters my friends....

And this was my gift for her... It was string wrapped so its a little blurry here...

a little close up..

This is quilling. Just in case you are wondering...It's the art of curling stripes of paper into flowers. It's also very therapuetic. My sister loves my handwork, my every creativity. It's important that i give someone who appreciate my work and admire it and i know she did. Thanks sis and i'm glad you like this. Btw she has already hung this frame in her bedroom. How sweet of her... :)

Ok back to the scrapping front.....
Here's what i did...

A bright red page for my girl.... If you can see, i've used tags here and there :)

Every day
is another
chance to
make your
Dreams
come true

Ok that's all for now...
Hope you have a great day ahead...

Catch up again soon...
