From the Sunny island

of Singapore... I would like to wish all celebrating this season of blessings a Very Happy and Blessed Christmas..

Yesterday a friend came by and give me a warm big hug and wished me the Best Christmas with a bag full of Goodies. I was touched. That is one amazing friend.
My work has allowed me to meet up many talented and amazing scrappers along the way. Some are "nasty' some are nice. When they are nice they are really really nice. They will just pop in the shop and give you a nice warm cup of coffee or even a hug. They make you smile. These are people that appreciate art. They also create and we inspire each other. That is the beautiful part of my job. I'm so thankful to J & K for giving me such an opportunity.

Have a Great Christmas & Great weekend
i'm going to eat my log cake soon.
Thanks for coming

A layout on me....
It's been awhile i did a page on myself. Couldn't find any newer photo of myself alone so i decided to use this picture again. Something a little different from my usual but i like...

Hmm...please exclude the lace below..it's there only to decorate my stand.lol
For this layout i played with
some glimmer mist
Martha steward border and butterfly punch
some K & co tags
own lace and buttons
Maya Road envelopes
some twines and rhinestones
3 red roses on the white flower stained with GM
Tim Holtz metal embellish
7gs paper and cardstock
and tada....that's what you see...

Anyways...i just completed a vintage layout and card for my next month's class. I feel that i can work quite well with vintage and I'm loving everything i see in that. I shall post a sneaky peeky soon.
So my dearest friends, how have you been? Hope with the Christmas coming soon, it's not driving you crazy with the gifts and wrappings? Speaking of which, I managed to wrapped only 2 gifts yesterday. I need to go get more gifts, gifts and gifts. Sigh.... at moments like these, i wish there are more hours in a day. 24 hours is a bit too short sometimes...
In the midst of whatever you are doing, don't forget to stay healthy always and keep on smiling.

Leaving you with this and hope you have a wonderful wonderful weekend ahead..

Good Morning Friends
how's your Tuesday morning been so far? Hope you are having a good start to your day. We are already 7 days into December and very very soon it will be Christmas than New Year. Days are jumping fast. Anyways i did this layout for my boy. I played with some tags. I recycled the Prima packaging and used it as a description tag. I think it's kinda cool.
Here it goes...

For one reason or another, the image is blur. I tried editing but failed. Hmm.... that's the problem when you are not an IT expert. But nevermind, i'm sure it's good enough to see. I've also completed another page on myeslf and will post it on my next entry.

In the meantime... I'm leaving you with this.....

and hope you have a great Tuesday ahead...

It's December and the feeling of Christmas is here......
Just couldn't stop myself doing cards after cards. Tis' the season to be jolly and im indeed jollying with my creations... Here are some of them...

This is my favorite....

I've always wanted to do these rolled flowers. Finally set my hands on them and i think its quite fun. You should try doing it... it's interesting... I think that sock is cute :)

Another thing that i've always wanted to do is a shabby vintage looking card..
Again i'm not sure if this is shabby enough.. But i tried and i like it a lot...

Especially for you...
I love the paper..
love the color...
love the lace, the flower
love everything. lol
I had this flower for the longest time, didn't know what to do with it until this card came in mind.

Another one here..

This was a last minute card. I had some left over paper from a layout i did and didn't want to waste on the leftovers so that was how this card was born. I did this in less than 10 mins. I applied some shimmerz blingz on the white flower. Unfortunately it can't really be seen here.
It's kind of bright... anyways it's the jolly good season so all things bright...

A little sneaky peaky on my layout....

As you can see, i recycled the prima packaging to use it as a description..and it fits perfectly for my page...

Hmm... you've got to wait till the reveal..

Thanks for coming by my blog
It's almost 11pm now

Hello friends....
I'm not doing a disappearing act again. I've been good, i've been doing lots of stuff but unfortunately i cannot share because my CF card went corrupted. All my beautiful photos taken just won't read when I insert my card in the puter. Aargh!!! I'm so angry...I do have a smaller camera but it's just not the same. I'm going to get a new CF card soon, but in the meantime, just thought of sharing with you again some of my favourite layouts and photos taken with my DSLR...

That's it i'm going to stop. Images are taking too long to be uploaded to blogger. This is crazy.. It took like almost 20 minutes to upload the above. It shall think that's all for now friends..

Have a great evening

Good Morning everyone:)
There's so much to share today but first and foremost I am the Guest Designer for Sunday's Sketch over at
My Little Sketch Blook. Do check me there if you want to read a little about me. But nevertheless here's the layout i worked on.

Dream....

I want to thank Liz once again for giving me the opportunity to expand my horizon and creativity and of course to be featured in her blog :) Hugs Liz :)

Ok so what's up with me and what have i been doing lately?

Yes, crocheting....(is there ever such a word? lol)
I crochet and crochet and did these
5, 6 and even 7 petals flowers...

and came up with this.....

I wanted a vintage looking card but i think this is not vintagey enough :(
I did this in less than 10 mins..

I made a notebook....
A fabric one this time round...

I wanted to stamp some sentiments on the front but decided to have it original instead.... Those scallop laces was given to me free. There's this generous lady who knows that i do crazy little handmade stuff, she give me some of her laces like the whole roll of it and said "do whatever you want, it's all yours now" How sweet of her.....

Hmm.... this is non scrap related but i just can't contain my happiness. I want to dedicate this to my daughter...
A little Bit of
Love for You,
Daughter...
A few words from my Heart to yours......
In your happiest and most exciting moments,
my heart will celebrate and smile beside you.
In your lowest lows, my love will be there to keep you warm,
to give you strength, and to remind you that your sunshine
is sure to come again,
In your moments of accomplishments,
I will be filled so full of pride
that I may have a hard time keeping
the feeling inside of me.
In your moments of disappointment,
I will be a shoulder to cry on
a hand to hold, and a love that will
gently enfold you until everything's okay....
I looked at you today
and saw my beautiful
daughter
no longer a baby
but a beautiful person
with a full range of
emotions and feelings
and ideas and goals....
I am so proud of you and i love you so.....

Ok so you must be wondering why in the world am i writing all these...
Ok it's simple, she got 4 distinctions and is in the top 10 position for the whole academic cohort. Yup it's true, i mentioned it above, i'm having a hard time keeping that feeling inside of me coz i'm so full of pride for her. You go girl....

That's all for now folks....
I 've got to go....
Be back with two more layouts to share..

I create... I scrap...
and i came up with these...
OOOOO..... now that it's up on the blog, it's really really RED...
But i think this is lovely...
with that little cheeky boy posing for the camera...
That's Keeven and Ming Xuan is his chinese name :)

we are family...

Sorry about that:( the photo is a little dark here. I tried editing in flickr but couldn't sign in because moi has forgotten the password. lol Now i've got to wait for Saj and hopefully she can remember for me. I used the Pink Paislee collection for this layout. I wanted something bright so i worked with yellow for the base. We all took this in a studio. It can get difficult to come up with titles for layout sometimes. Since we are all from Our Craft Place so i thought 'we are family' for the title will be just right. So if you want to know or have already known, this is the OCP family. lol
Confession! When i first saw this pink Paislee paper, i grab the whole lot from the shelf. I did not count, i just grab and go and in total for this paper i had 7 pieces and for the whole collection i think maybe close to 30. I'm a paper hoader!!! Shh... aren't we all the same.lol
Ok friends, that's all i have for now.
You stay happy and smiling always
Happy Monday everyone
Take care

Very good Monday Morning everyone......
How's your weekend and how have you been so far? Phew... with all the exam fever gone from my side, it feels so much relax and more time to scrap now. I hope and pray that she do well. Anyways, our weekend was a quite one, staying at home and enjoying each other's company. My dearest Hub and me did went out for awhile to do some groceries shopping and we were back soon after because there was a liverpool match at 8.30pm last night. On Saturday night, Saj and me was sitting on the sofa watching MTV Rihanna top 20 countdown. Those who know me would be like.."what you sit and watch MTV?" yup, im not the kind who will sit infront of a TV set, i wouldrather do something productive, first in the list would be scrapping, followed by house chores. But that Saturday, i took the effort to watch MTV with her and i have one word to describe - SHOCKED. Yes shocked! MTV videos has become almost like a X-rated kind of thinge. Woman carrassing, kissing, touching, hugging with another woman. It's norm if it's between the opposite sex but woman and woman!!! I'm conservative, and I'm proud to say that. My parents were traditional and very conservative, and there were many rules and regulations we had to follow. Of course ultimately, when we grew up, the choices are for us to make, but the roots are still there. We can define what is right and wrong and if its bad we refrained from it altogether. But this generation, nowadays it's totally the opposite. So back to the MTV, i took that opportunity to talk to her and tried reaching to her level. My girl is a teenager and she is vulnerable to these kind of exposure. For someone like me, MTV is not my kind but yet i have to like it one way or another to keep up with the latest trend. Saj loves music and i have to love her kind of music too. Ok so much of MTVs...

I did some quilling the past few days and came up with these frames here...

Something soft, something sweet...

Life is not measured by the
number of breaths we take
but by the moments that
take our breath away

This is another one that i like...
Especially the sentiment....
We all take
different paths
in life, but
no matter
where we go, we take a
little of each other
everywhere

Ok that's all for now..
I'm going to leave you with these
and hope you have a great day ahead.

Today's post in non-scrap related..
Pardon me for that...
Pictures are all courtesy from Abhi's school concert and graduation ceremony last Saturday.
It was indeed a very proud moment for all of us to witness him performing with so much of enthusiasm and confidence and seeing him graduating actually moved me close to tears. He has grown up... and grown up fast. I was proud seeing him on stage and i'm sure any mother would, seeing their kids braving on stage infront of 680 parents, VIPS, school President, Principal and teachers and even the MP for Marine Parade. It was a moment to be proud of and i wish him many more graduations in his life to come.

The team from
The Fire Of Inamura

That's him performing below... the thing that moved me was, he did not tell us that he was the lead dancer. I guessed he wanted it to be a suprised...
As the costume suggest, it was a Japanese concert show.
He was one of the villagers trying to save their harvest during Tsunami.

When the Tsunami came they were scared, thus that expressions

The lead dancer... that's him
so when they were able to save their harvest from Tsunami,
they began to dance and celebrate
Arikisho...Arikisho..Sora Sora Sora....Arikisho Arikisho..
(That's all i can remember from the song)lol

It was indeed a very memorable event.
The team and teachers have really put in big great effort to make this event a very successful one.
Kudos to each and every one of them.

Thanks for coming by into my little cyber world where i share slices of my life.
Be back with some scrappy stuff next.
Have a great Monday

We are already one week
into October. Its a wet Thursday morning here with heavy downpour and dark clouds. Hope you have a good start to your morning and is always doing fine. Last Sunday was a dear sister's birthday. We had a good time together and get to meet up the rest. It was a celebration over food of course. Here she is...the birthday lady...

Love you sis...
Happy Birthday once again...

Hope she gets wiser as she grows older.lol

and that's us....

My sisters my friends....

And this was my gift for her... It was string wrapped so its a little blurry here...

a little close up..

This is quilling. Just in case you are wondering...It's the art of curling stripes of paper into flowers. It's also very therapuetic. My sister loves my handwork, my every creativity. It's important that i give someone who appreciate my work and admire it and i know she did. Thanks sis and i'm glad you like this. Btw she has already hung this frame in her bedroom. How sweet of her... :)

Ok back to the scrapping front.....
Here's what i did...

A bright red page for my girl.... If you can see, i've used tags here and there :)

Every day
is another
chance to
make your
Dreams
come true

Ok that's all for now...
Hope you have a great day ahead...

Catch up again soon...

Good Morning everyone :)
How's your Wednesday morning been so far? Hope you have a good start to your morning. I just had my morning tea and eventually landed up here infront of my iMac. I love to work on tags and ATCs and these will be what i will be working on next. Just can't wait to put my hands on.

Tags tags and more tags...
Will post it up when i'm done :)

I think if you have been following me, by now you should know how much i love Prima. I just have to thank them zillion times for those wonderful embellishments and papers. Oh i just can't get enough of it. It's expensive but the flowers are so irresistible and even if i cant buy all, at least one or two will just make me equally happy. So, what Prima is up to now is, they are introducing a new marketing book that's filled with inspiration and ideas.

Just check this out...

Did you see that?
18 Artists from all around the WORLD
Over 130 Projects
ONE BRAND

The cover page is already so yummy i wonder what's brewing inside..
Hmm .....all Prima lovers we just have to wait..
